From high-energy concert stages and music video sets to local business job sites, weddings, and modern websites—delivering over a decade of hands-on photography, videography, and digital marketing strategy. Creating content for bands, lovers and businesses in the PNW and beyond.

Hi, I’m Alex
I’ve been telling stories through a lens for as long as I can remember—literally. My great-grandmother put a disposable film camera in my hands when I was just 18 months old, and I haven't put one down since. By 14, I had officially launched my photography business, starting a lifelong journey in photography, videography, and digital marketing.
My path fully ignited at my first MISSIO show at House of Blues Dallas. From that moment on, I dove headfirst into live music—shooting shows, traveling on the road, and learning every inch of the industry, from tour management and merch to lighting, publicity, and content creation. By 16, I was working as a venue photographer, contributing to music publications, and traveling the country filming music videos and capturing concerts. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with thousands of artists, including directing a music video and creating a marketing campaign that raised over $10,000 for the North Texas Food Bank with Prophets and Outlaws.
Expanding beyond the stage, I spent several years in Austin, Texas, managing digital marketing, social strategy, and visual content for a clothing brand that focused on supporting the local Austin music scene. During my time there, I helped produce a major benefit concert following the Uvalde tragedy—combining community action, music, and brand storytelling to make a real impact.
Broad Marketing & Industry Expertise
Over the last decade, I’ve managed digital marketing and content strategy across a wide variety of industries—including restaurants, event planners, clothing brands, music venues, furniture manufacturers, marketing research firms, craft stores, candle makers, Amazon marketing agencies and more. That diverse background means I bring proven, multi-industry marketing strategies directly to local small businesses.
Driven by a love for community, I founded Neon Noise—a publication dedicated to celebrating not just musicians, but the essential tour crew, engineers, and behind-the-scenes teams who make live music happen. I also created Life With, a documentary series focused on mental health and lived experiences.
Today, my work spans three worlds that all share the same heartbeat: authentic storytelling.
Whether I’m on a dark stage capturing the energy of a sold-out show as a music photographer, helping a local small business grow online through expert videography, commercial video, social media management, email marketing campaigns and web design, or documenting real connections for couples and families, my goal is always the same: to make you look extraordinary and help your brand grow.
At the core of everything I do is a belief that great visual content should be both beautiful and strategic. I bring over a decade of hands-on media production, digital marketing management, and brand strategy to every project—keeping communication clear, direct, and straightforward from start to finish.
When I'm not behind a camera or building websites, you’ll usually find me out hiking the Pacific Northwest trails with my two German Shepherds, running through the woods, or hunting for rocks along the coast.
If you’re a musician, local business owner, or couple looking for high-impact photography services, videography, web design, or digital marketing support, I’d love to connect and build something great together.

Before we were a husband-and-wife creative team, we were two people obsessed with live production.
We met in December 2024 while both working a Drowning Pool show at the legendary Trees in Dallas, Texas. Alex behind the lens, Travis running backline. The connection was instantaneous. Within a month, we fell in love, packed up our lives, and moved across the country to call the Pacific Northwest our new home.
Today, we bring that same high-energy, synchronized rhythm to every big project we take on together. Whether we’re co-directing music videos, running tour coverage, or capturing every unscripted moment of your wedding day, we operate like a well-oiled machine.
While Alex handles the visual story, framing, and creative direction, Travis brings a deep technical background in stagehand work, backline tech, and audio production. Together, you don't just get two photographers—you get two seasoned industry pros who know how to manage high-stakes events seamlessly, keep the energy relaxed, and capture life as it truly happens.
When we aren't on set or behind a camera, you’ll find us exploring PNW trails with our two German Shepherds, Hera and Bandit, or watching Beavis and Butthead while editing content.

Life With is a video series created, filmed, directed, and edited by Alex Thomas of AETPhotos about different mental health conditions, what they can look like from person to person, and how they can affect people in their day to day life both positively and negatively. This series should be used to help us learn more about one another as human beings, bring us closer together, learn how to better care for one another in our often invisible struggles and hopefully help those struggling to feel less alone in their mental health journey. While this series should be used to learn about different mental health conditions directly from those affected, it should not be used to diagnose any mental health conditions. Please seek professional help if you feel you may be struggling.
